Manifesto: Simon McVittie, as President and Webmaster 2006-07

Nominated for President by Oliver Longden and seconded by Fiona Morgan

During my year as (joint) webmaster I've been to almost all the committee meetings and ended up more or less chairing some of them, so Oliver has asked me to do the same on a more official basis. I've also been involved in promoting Rocksoc at Freshers' Fair, attempting to sort out the mandate, and other such president-ish things. As President I would do my best to keep up to date on what the committee are doing and make sure things get done in time.

Although I'm not a student any more, I go to most Rocksoc gigs and events and I'm keen to contribute to their continued success.

I currently run rocksoc.org.uk. I've kept it updated, redesigned the style of the site, improved the code which produces it, and organised a move to more stable hosting arrangements. If re-elected I'll continue in the same way.
