A reminder to you lot that the pub crawl is TONIGHT

We start at the Pickerel at 7.30pm. For those of you that don't know, it's
on Bridge St./Magdalen St. opposite Magdalen, just north of St. John's
near the bridge (hence the name of the street!). You can even find an
online map here:

http://uk2.multimap.com/map/places.cgi?addr1=&addr2=bridge+st&addr3=cambridge&pc=&SUBMIT=Find%21&client=M6&db=ap&width=700&height=400

or here:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?P2M?P=cb21ua&Z=1

but ignore the arrows, just know that it's west of the river on the left
as you head out of town. You can't miss it. Try asking people if you get
lost. Or look for long-haired people in black.

After the Pickerel, we are going to The Mitre, which is also on Bridge
St. slightly nearer town on the opposite side of the road next to the
terrible Baron of Beef and in front of the quite good Curry King.

After this, we're planning to trek into town to The Bath on Benet St.
see here:
http://uk2.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?addr1=Bath+Ale+House,&addr2=Benet+Street&addr3=Cambridge&pc=CB2+3QN&client=M6&gride=544856&gridn=258332&scale=10000
It's near Kings and the market square.

Then we're going to The Fountain on Regent St.. See here:

http://uk2.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=M6&GridE=545287&GridN=258098&width=700&db=ap&addr1=The+Fountain,++12&addr2=Regent+Street&addr3=Cambridge&pc=CB2+1DB&SUBMIT=Find!&height=400&client=M6

or walk south out of town past Robert Sayle, Emmanuel College etc. it's
near the giant airport lounge pub (the "regal") but don't go there because
it's shite and filled with trendy wankers.

Finally we're going to finish in The Alma (hopefully the pub quiz will
have finished by then...) ... you must know where that is? Ok, if not
try:
http://uk2.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?addr1=1&addr2=Russell+Court&addr3=Cambridge&pc=CB2+1HW&client=M6&gride=545371&gridn=257456&scale=10000

Basically, find Lensfield Road (that's where the Chemistry dept. is) and
walk down Panton St. (next to said dept.) then it's 3rd left off there on
Russell Court - you can't miss it (big signs saying "The Alma" help :)

phew
hope to see you later on this evening then!

cheers
