Present - Andy M, Oli, Emma, Elisabeth, Roz, Mary.

1. EGM.
Mary to put details on the website. A mailshot about it will go out
shortly. Roz reminded us that she needs a cheque for the beer & room for
the AGM.

2. Geo-Metallurgy. - 16/5/01
This is a charity event being organised by Ryan from the Alma. The DJs are
rocksoc members, playing Hard Rock & Metal. There will also be a
sponsored chest waxing. It's at the Q club, costs £2, and all the profits
go to charity. Volunteers to hand out fliers would be appreciated.

3. Fresher's Week Gig.
The Faces of Sarah, Emma Conquest, Narcissus Pool and Seize have all
expressed an interest in playing in Cambridge, so we're going to try and
get them to all play together in Fresher's week. There'll probably be an
extra discount for new members.

4. Ents Manager.
Because we seem to have lots of bands wanting to play and other events to
organise, we're considering the possibility of creating a new committee
post to organise all the one off events and keep track of venues and bands
and outside gigs.

5. Database.
Someone is going to set up a database with contacts for bands and venues.

6. Nagging Andy (part 1)
Andy needs to put the money from WUS into the bank every fortnight so that
Emma can treasure properly.

7. Nagging Andy (part 2)
In an effort to keep WUS more interesting and varied, the Hellhole DJs
shouldn't also play WUS sets, and people who haven't done a set should get
priority over people who've played lots.

8. Pulling new members...
Any new members will get free entry to WUS in Freshers week, and a couple
of weeks after that there will be a questionnaire on the website about
music tastes which you can get a discount by filling in.

10. Pool tournament.
There's going to be a pool tournament on Thursday 10th May in the Alma,
starting at about 9.00 because we need something to make the night more
interesting now that the request night has stopped.

11. Freshers Fair.
We're going to try and get a stall opposite gothsoc at the fair, so we can
work in tandem to ensnare new blood. Emma told us about somewhere which
sells black latex roses so we might get some to go on top of the bit of
black cloth. We also decided to get a revolving cross with different
symbols to cater to all religions tastes. Maybe.

Meeting finished at about 9.50
