Free classic rock on December 27th Monday 20 December .2004 at 21:06:44 from Richard Watts <rrw@semiramis.org.uk>
As the canny among you will have noticed, Wake Up Screaming is now on a Christmas break until January 25th, as the owners of the Kambar are on holiday. But all is not lost, for on December 27th at The Haymakers, Taff Evans, sometime WUS DJ, will be playing free classic rock from 8pm until closing time, supplying you with your fix of rock and metal until WUS returns!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year! See you all on the 25th!

| Rocksoc May Brawl Promo, June 15th Friday 4 June .2004 at 13:48:42 from Richard Watts <rrw@semiramis.org.uk>
As I hope everyone will have noticed, the Rocksoc May Brawl is on Thursday 17th June at the Man On The Moon on Norfolk St. This year, we're lucky to have Intense headlining, with Humanity, in their first home-town show in over a year, and Revcounter in support, and to mark the event, on June 15th, we'll have gig tickets and FOPP vouchers to give away, and hopefully some Intense T-shirts and members of Humanity coming down to DJ!
You can also buy tickets for the gig at WUS - £5 for Rocksoc members, £6 for students, and £7 for everyone else.
This is, of course, in addition to the regular great music and cheap drinks before 11pm - Music on the 15th will be provided by DeSade, Oli Wade, members of Humanity, and Myk, at the bargain-basement price of £2.50 for Rocksoc members, or £3.50 for non-members, and with Rocksoc membership £2 for a year or £ 4 for life, you can come to WUS, buy a gig ticket and get in, and get membership effectively free! :-).
See you all on the 15th!
