CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY ROCK SOCIETY AGM 2004
==========================================
Do you want:
More, or different Rocksoc events?
More, gigs?
More trips to festivals?
Different music at the Kambar?
More blackjack and hookers?
Here is your chance to change your Rock society and make it what you want it to be!
To function as a society and keep it running smoothly, it needs a committee to organize everything the society involves. This is your chance to make Cambridge Rock!
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 4th Marchupstairs at The Rope and Twine, Northampton Street, opposite Prezzo restaurant, left at the bottom of Castle Hill. Click here for a map.
The AGM is really not as bad as it sounds. It gives members a chance to meet-up and find-out what is going-on in the society and most importantly gives members a chance to become a member of the
committee. Oh, and don't forget the beer!
We have the room from 7.00 and the meeting will commence at 8.00 sharp. The most important piece of business will be the election of a committee for 2004-05. If you would like to stand for any of these positions your nominations and manifesto must be made and seconded by two Rocksoc Members (not the person standing), and submitted to Catherine Durance, either by email to
catherinedurance@hotmail.com or by post to 47 Cavendish Road, Cambridge. CB1 3AE
The deadline for nominations is 26th Feb. 2004. Manifestos will be forwarded to rocksoc-official and to the website.
Becoming a member of the committee gives the members a chance to make this society what it is. If there are things you want to change about the society, here is your chance.
