MINUTES

30/10/00

 

Present: Gina, Liz, Jimmer, Baz. Not many of

the Committee were present this Monday due to other engagements, and hence

little could be realistically discussed. Most had sent their apologies.

The 'meeting' finally commenced at about 2130 after Jimmer had been for

a piss.

1/ ACCOUNTS

Andy was not present and so we were unable to

inspect the accounts again this week. Liz commented that she felt that

it would be better for the accounting to be done in the presence of more

than two Committee members, for the accuracy of the calculation and for

her own personal safety. The Senior Treasurer and various members have

been asking about the state of the accounts and it was stressed once again

that this is now our number one priority. Andy will be contacted this week

and the accounts inspected next Monday. Definitely.

2/ COACHES FOR BRUMFEST

Jimmer said that so far we have only one firm

offer, from Andrew's Coaches. They are asking for £410 with a £100

deposit. It was agreed that this was quite expensive and Jimmer said he

would speak to other companies this week and mail the Committee if / when

he has some joy.

3/ JOHN SULLIVAN

At this point (2152) John Sullivan walked in.

When questioned about progress regarding his taking over as systems administrator,

he said we should speak to Oli about it, as he'd been in contact with Ian

Jackson about it.

The meeting ended at 2155.
