Meeting started: 8.35pm.

1) Treasurer:
Still no chequebook, mandate, and receipts.
Action: Richard to get in touch (physically) with Oliver to retrieve
items.
2) WUS:
Approx £5 loss.
Ben still to forward WUS files and articles.
Need cash for WUS cash-box.
RockSoc still owes Elizabeth £150.
Action: Richard to get necessary items from Ben.
Action: Get chequebook, to replace Elizabeth’s money (see above
action).
3) Handover:
Mandate required
Need to retrieve T-shirts and book from Ben.
Secretary goods handed over, with inkpad and flyer archives to
follow.
Events book/diary made and presented by Elizabeth
Action: Richard to meet with Oliver to retrieve all treasurer items.
Action: Elizabeth to replace inkpad and flyer archives, once
completed.
4) Forth-coming events:
May Brawl: 13th June
Discussed whether to hold at Boat Race or Graduate.
Motioned (informally), for the Boatrace, for many reasons.
Discussed party over gig event, informally motioned for party.
Action: Emma to check out the licensing agreement for the
evening, and to try and arrange some real-ale for the event.
May 18th: Man on the Moon.
Suggested bands:
D-Void.
Crimson
Imposters
Camillians.
License up until 11
Need two stewards: Emma and Richard, but we can rotate between
volunteers.
Costing: £70 soundman and security.
£100 venue, or 50% of door takings, whichever is less.
Total costs: £170 max.
17th October: Earth Shock tour, Boat Race.
No further developments as from last week.
Man on the moon may be interested in “Hell Hole”.
Action: Emma will discuss this further with the venue owner.
5) Mandate:
Chequebook and mandate still required from Oliver.
Action: Richard to retrieve them.
6) Record collection auction:
£34.50 made thus far.
Action: Some CD’s still need to be given to bidders, and money still
to be retrieved.
7) Bat walk/race:
People interested, but need an appropriate date.
Action: Emma to contact the bat society and obtain some possible
dates.
8) Term card:
To put on the calendar:
Beer festival
Strawberry fair: Sat 7th June
Picnic: Sun 8th June
Punt: Sun 14th June (daytime)
A possible informal evening punt can be organized at a later date if
desired.
9) WUS publicity:
Fliers made.
Action: Richard to e-mail Emma to arrange band advertising and
merchandise for WUS.
Action: Richard to send Oli pdf files etc.
Kambar is available during May week (summer fair).
10) Festivals: Upcoming festivals in which RockSoc members may have
interest.
Can organize possible transport and/or accommodation.
Download: Possible car-share.
Action: Emma To put on official: anyone interested in
Download, and on which days, to see if organized transport is
feasible.
Bang you head: 27/28th June.
Wacken Festival: 31st July-2nd August.
Action: Elizabeth to look into flights and other possible transport
to Germany.
Blood Stock:
Action: Put out a call on the website for anyone interested in
driving a minibus.
