1). AGM:
A college room simply is not an option. They don't like non-students, sex, drugs, or rock'n'roll.
Action: Catherine to call the Rope and Twine and book the function room for either 3rd, 4th, 10th, or 11th of March
Action: Catherine to e-mail and write letters to all society members about the AGM.
Comittee member positions: President, secretary, treasuer, WUS officer, web officer and events/publicity officer.
2). Gigs:
Man on the Moon are interested in becoming our new local regular venue for gigs. This needs investigating.
More events at colleges would be good, but very, very tricky. Colleges want lots of notice, we may need to make it student only nights and may need to bring some of our own equipment.
We need to investigate the college option further.
3). Festivals:
We need to start thinking about which festivals we want, if any, to organise as Rocksoc trips.
Bike/Taff's festival: Do we want to organise either several cars, or a bus. We need to advertise on -announce to see who, if any, are interested.
4). T-shirts:
Where are they?
Action: Baz to text Oliver and find out.
No reponse from Oli.
Still unresolved!
Leave it for next years comittee to deal with?
5). Gigs:
Fire and Forget gig made £3, which was distributed as payment to each band.
Boat Race gig 17th Jan 2004: Made a humungous profit of £36-30.
6). Andy Cairns:
Andy still claims he is DJing at WUS on the 10th Feb, but I'm not holding my breath.
7). AOB:
Recommendations:
Audiowar
Gammaray
Rude Mechanicals
