Minutes of committee meeting 29/03/04

Meeting opened at 8.44pm
Present: Richard, Baz, Oli, Elise.
Apologies: Keith

1. Minutes of last meeting.
They were approved, after Baz pointed out that his gig would include Gore, not Gong.
Oops. It's also likely to be at the MotM and not the Portland.

2. Treasurers report.
We still have no mandate, but Katie has given Baz the latest statement.
The bank balance is £1319.28, as of 22/3/04. Richard told us that WUS had lost about £40 over the past month.

Action: Baz to find mandate. Richard to email -committee with the WUS figures every fortnight

3. Gigs
Richard has mailed the MotM for dates for the May Brawl and Baz gig, with line-up of Interlock, Gore and Grim Dominion. Interlock need to know the PA spec from the MotM.

Action: Baz to find out how much was offered to bands for previous gigs, and negotiate costs with the bands. Richard to chase MotM and get dates finalised.

4. Events
Dates of 12th & 13th of June were set for the Picnic and Punting. Keith needs to get in touch with Trinity and confirm a date for the event there.

5. Publicity.
Keith has been contacting everyone, so hopefully should have some more details for the next meeting. APU Rocksoc seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. The minions need to be contacted to get them flyering. Elise needs to contact Emma and find out arrangements
for getting termcards printed. She also needs to remember to email -announce with a reminder for the next committee meeting.

Action: Minions to flyer, Elise to contact Emma.

6. Survey/report
The technical problems of last week appear to have actually lost any data we got from the freshers, so they need to be sorted out and then people can be asked to fill in the survey again.
Elise has volunteered to buy a drink for the first five people to fill it in by way of an apology.

Action: Elise to fix survey.

7. Webshite
The minutes need updating, as does the committee page.

Action: Oli
