Minutes of committee meeting 24/10/05

Meeting Opened at 9.12pm.

Committee Present: Simon, Oliver, Fiona, Keith

1. Bank statement and money

The treasurer is absent, presumed mid-coitus.

Kill the spending, because not much has been paid in. Someone needs to check how much we have in the bank.

Action: Keith to email committee with balance. He needs to take cheque book and account details, and question the bank.

Action: Oliver to pay in £800

Action: Keith to leave £150 in the box.

(Update: Keith has already done this.)

2. Termcards

They will be done tomorrow. Action: Oliver, Keith and Fiona to do termcards.

3. WUS

Oliver has DJs. All WUSes have made £300 between them, therefore have broken even. WUS is going well. There are fliers and posters for WUS, including A3 posters, for the window of the Kambar.

Action: Simon to email flier jpg to Oliver. Action: Kit to print some. Action: Oliver to poster colleges, and get WUS listed in the press. (Oliver says, 'The Kambar are excellent!')

4. Gigs + Publicity

The last gig happened, and there were photos. 50 people were indoors. Total loss: £114.84. 2/3 bands have been paid.

The next gig needs to be advertised: 26th Nov in Portland Arms, with Mistress, Trencher and Army of Flying Robots. Action: Keith to get fliers done in a week, and to send Simon background and logo. Action: Simon to make it web centric.

5. Website

The website is proceeding.

6. Irrelevant Interruptions

In which Oliver took a phone-call inquiring about the Order of the Chronicles of Narnia. Keith's a philistine that can't read.
