Meeting Opened at 9.02pm

Present: Simon, Oliver, Baz, Fiona, Emily

Minutes from last week have been approved.

1. Treasurer's report

The Rocksoc accounts for last year are on their way: Helen and Oliver have completed 3 months of accounts.

Helen still doesn't seem to be getting bank statements.

Action: Keith to visit HSBC and find out whether they've processed the mandate and change of address yet.

WUS was running well after Oliver took over, and making money. However, over the summer, WUS lost money for the first time in 4 years (about 150 pounds). Therefore there will be a change of income from the usual 800 pounds per year to 600-700 pounds.

Action: Oliver to collate WUS door sheets by the next meeting: typed copies are needed.
Action: Oliver to meet with Helen again to sort out the rest.

Oliver has volunteered to see Dr Greaves about the accounts, when they're finished.

2. WUS

There have been two very good WUSes, but the last one wasn't great. More effort needs to go into publicising the next one.

Matthew will lend Oliver a laptop that can navigate on commercial websites. (Oliver couldn't access them due to shit advertising and bollocks.) In return, Matthew shall receive 'bodily fluids, a kidney', and love and devotion.

Oliver has emailed the Cambridge Explorer in order to place an ad. However, it was like pissing into the Great Canyon - no idea where it's gone.

Action: Oliver to access websites and send emails.
Action: Nick to help poster colleges.
Action: Simon to email PDF of WUS posters to Oliver.

New WUS posters should be designed, with a logo in a recognisable font, and dates underneath (like the Church of Noise poster). Portrait will be best, but due to Screaming being a long word, we may have to go landscape.

Action: Simon to have a go at poster design.

Nick might DJ next term.

3. Termcards and AGM Mail

The next batch of mail (after termcards) will be for the AGM. Rubber stamps with the return address should be in the secretarial box, and all envelopes need to be stamped at the back.

Next year's termcards should be done before term, and be ready to send in the first week.

4. Rocksoc/CUSU contact

We need a student to be Rocksoc's contact for CUSU (including receiving post sent to Rocksoc c/o CUSU), after Baz leaves. Nick Jackson volunteered. It was suggested that he be known as the Post Officer.

5. Membership cards

They need to be done.

Action: Oliver and Keith to swap sign-up books with Fiona and Emily.
Action: Fiona and Emily to get the cards done.

6. Irrelevant Interruptions

In which Oliver lit a cigarette at the wrong end, and tried to smoke it.

In which Fiona and Baz were both possessive about Matthew (Baz's bitch).
Baz, to Fiona: I will mud wrestle you later.

Simon, to Oliver: You know where I live, I think.

Baz: They have Salem Porter on tap!

A pause, in which Oliver and Baz had an orgasm over Nick('s description of his CD collection).
