Minutes of committee meeting 27/02/06

Meeting Opened at 9.04pm.

Committee Present: Simon, Oliver, Keith

1. Money

Money is getting tight: WUS box less than £150, although Events box has around £400. Last WUS made a small loss, although less bad than previously.

2. Advertising

WUS now on Terrorizer website and we'll hopefully be featured as a local metal scene.

Action: Oliver to get WUS in Zero Tolerance.

Action: Oliver, Keith to flyer alternative pubs etc.

Action: Simon to advertise stuff in TCS/Varsity/CUSU (at least their websites.)

Action: Keith to talk to Neil Jones on Star FM Rock Show.

Action: Oliver to flyer the Calling.

Action: Oliver to get events in Cambridge Evening News/Cambridge Weekly News.

3. Masters of Rock

We don't have enough interested people yet to get a discount on Masters of Rock, but hopefully we can. Action: Keith to remind -chat and Livejournal.

4. Gig

All sorted, although bands haven't replied to Keith's emails.

The only remaining gig this year is the May Brawl on the 17th of June, bands still to be arranged.

5. AGM

Action: Keith to confirm, and ask for gluten-free food at the Castle Inn. Chips are good.

Meeting buried with a stake through its heart at 9.28.

Meeting resurrected using dark arts by Oli, to ask about a possible Rocksoc trip to a festival. We can't fund it, but can send emails (but only if they're printed on recycled electrons).

Meeting re-buried a couple of minutes later.
