Meeting Began: 8:40pm

Mark is tired.

1. WUS
Made £103. Box is down by £1.
Two requests to DJ at WUS, including Taff.
Mark has the WUS box.
Nick has clipboard and headphones.
Street team to get WUS advertised on the college event mailing lists.
DJs to get on mailing lists in order to obtain free records. Also play
promo cds at WUS.
Nick suggested we use a microphone for introducing songs people might not
know during the commercial slot. We should get feedback from WUS attendees
on this.
Suggestions for Special WUSes:
Album launch nights for local and major bands (tie in with Earache and
Road Runner records), themed nights eg Horror, school.
First WUS after Fresher's Fair:
Free Entry for WUS on fliers for Fresher's Fair - Rockstock could help
cover for this.
Ask WUS for £100 venue charge instead of £150. Or drinks offers.

Action: Mark to give WUS box to Nev at next pubmeet.
Action: Nick to give clipboard and headphones to Nev at next pubmeet.

2. Publicity
Invest Rockstock money in WUS promotion.
Advertise on CUR Student Radio, maybe get a DJ on the Rockshow.
Cross promote with Underworld
UMS fliers to Gillian James and Sam Wiggins
Merge Gothsoc and Rocksoc mailing lists
Rockstock 13th May - Street team take posters.
Advertising WUS - If you work in a Cambridge pub, you get in free.

3. Events
Get promoters of Non Rocksoc Gigs to come to Cambridge
Use the Loft as a venue for Rocksoc Gigs occasionally

4. May Brawl
Keith has printed a lovely flier.
Suggested improvements: Increase font of Jack's Family and Kreuzdammer.
Also www.rocksoc.org.uk
Sort price out for gig.

5. Webshite
Change the Events page to tabs layout.
WUS page cluttered
Link pictures to events - take pictures of every single WUS, put on
Rocksoc website.
Put more member pictures into the gallery. Also change 'Rogue' title.

Action: John B to tinker.

6. T-shirts
Get some new T-shirts designed as a competition. Winning design gets a
free T-shirt and free entry to WUS for a year.

7. Mandate
Mark will get a mandate form and fill it in.
Need bank statements and photo ID from committee members.

8. Accounts
Get bank statements sent to Mark
Look into online banking - many advantages

9. Membership cards
Need to be done in time for next WUS.
Action: Fiona needs to find WUS membership book.
