Meeting opened: 20:48

1. WUS
WUS is BACK IN BLACK. We have 2 DJs sorted for the upcoming one. Oliver
might DJ at the one in 2 weeks time. Committee need to start arriving at
WUS at 9pm, to make the Kambar less empty. Andy Cairns will DJ at WUS -
maybe after Xmas.
Promotion: Cross-promotion of WUS and MAS? Ask Alex about this. Ask Neil
Jones on Star Radio if he will plug WUS.
Fresher's Week WUS: WUS is first Tuesday of term. Need BIG colour poster
of WUS in the Kambar window. Very commercial set for 1st WUS of term,
interspersed with other metal genres.
Action: Committee to be there at 9pm and all on our best behaviour(!).
Action: Mark to ask Richard and Sue if WUS can have out of term rates for
the night and drinks offers.

2. Fresher's Fair
Tuesday 2nd - Wednesday 3rd October
Need BIG colour poster of WUS up at stall. The fliers we give out at
Fresher's Fair will all allow free entry to WUS. The first 10 people
through the door will get a free T-shirt.

3. Posters and Fliers
We have new designs for posters and fliers. We need to get posters and
fliers of events and WUS into the colleges - this needs to be a
collaborative event. Also, include 6th form colleges.
Action: Mark to speak to John S about fliers of WUS/Calling
Action: Mark to put WUS dates on posters/fliers for whole of term.
Action: Someone (Mark?) to sort out printing of at least 2 BIG colour
posters of WUS.

4. T-shirt designs
Action: Mark to put up links to pictures of designs on LJ, with results
private.

5. Website
Find out other alternative Cambridge events, list them on the website.

6. Term-cards
Email out a term card, including MAS on listing.

7. Rock Map
We should make a Rock Map of Cambridge, showing places of Rocksocian
significance, such as the Pickerel, Portland Arms and Man on the Moon.

8. Gigs & Events
There is a gig on the 31st October. We need a venue, desperately. Keith to
book something small maybe. Music will be post-rock if Skyclad doesn't
happen.
Loft has reopened as Barfly and is taking gigs already. Greenmind have
moved their gigs there.
Keith has booked MOTM for 24th November. MOTM are now taking £50 deposits,
Keith has paid deposit.
Keith would like to resurrect the Trinity Rock Night.
Rocksoc Pub Crawl to be held Friday 12th October.
Action: Keith to meet Simon from Soultree on Friday.
Action: Keith to ask Simon McV for contacts of colleges for events.
