In true hardcore fashion (by 'hardcore' we mean 'civilised') we shall be delving through some of Cambridge's finest tea establishments in order to stock up on copious amounts of caffeine and cake. The crawl will be taking place on Saturday 18th February, beginning at 12pm at Michaelhouse Café near St Mary's Church (see map below). Iron Knights headlining! Blending an energetic mix of giant hardcore and metal drenched in groove; The Projectionist are a no-holds-barred sonic attack that cuts a path straight through your ears and into the deepest regions of your bowels. Real ale, real cider, Belgian beer, mead etc. When the Elm Tree closes, no doubt we will go over to the newly reopened First and Last, which is under new management. At some point the 13th baktun cycle of the Mayan calendar will end and the 14th baktun cycle will begin, meaning it's only another 7 baktun cycles until the end of the current piktun cycle in 4772 — this is not expected to affect the beer. |
